BOARD 0F ACTIVITIES COIIEGE CLUB The Board of Activities is comprised of the officers of each class. lt is their job to plan the assemblies that we enjoy through- out the year. They also serve as a link be- tween the administration and the students by presenting the students' viewpoint on school activities. The College Club is under the direction of Mr. John Timko who gives them advice in furthering their education. The club has heard speakers from Capital University. Ohio Northern University. The hard-working Staff of twenty-one sophomores. juniors, and seniors is under the direction of Mrs. Marian Kasmere. New this year were daily staff meetings held in the publication annex just off the Home Ec room and the Warrior emblem which appeared on the front page of the paper. Besides the work of reporting and writing, these busy staff members sold basketball and football programs and exchanged copies of the paper with neighboring schools. The Hilltopper, now in its twenty-seventh year of pub- lication, is a member of the Tri-County Journalism Association, the Columbia Scholastic Press Association, and the Brookfield chapter of Quill and Scroll, the national journalism honorary. SENIOR PLAY Let's Face It , a sprightly three-act comedy, pro- duced under the direction of Miss Anne Nemetz, was the Senior Class contribution this year in the dramatics field. The story, involving the delightful Carr family, who become involved in one hilarious event after another, was presented on November 19 and 20. Complications arise when Aunt Lucinda, who is just slightly hard of hearing. accepts a large inheritance as a result of a rib-tickling mix-up. The Carr family immediately embarks on a large scale spending spree, only to Gnd that they must return the money. All comes to a smashing climax as Mr. Carr receives his long-awaited patent on an inven- tion. money that will at last put the family back on its feet.
