The club has even formed its own entertainment, Q 5 showing cartoons, and comedies fThe Marx Brothers and , J American Qraffittii. One major event was the Beer Can 'LA ,J Spectacular , when dealers from miles around came to buy, QQN 'poly' sell, and trade beer cans. The club's big project this year was --., ,..f to get the Ecology Center off to a start by providing a pond for birds and keeping the area in its natural state. FUTURE TEACHERS OF AMERICA Many students aspire to become the kind, considerate and dedicated people we all know as teachers. Dedicated they are, for who else sits up late nights and keeps busy over weekends correcting assignments but teachers? They constantly dream up new ways Xl ll to liven up classes and make them interesting. In hoping to become like these teachers, Future Teachers of America traveled to other schools and the Academy of Basic Education this year. Officers: Beth Murel, Debbie Hurley, Kathee Tuttle. As well as visiting business to discover what the world of stock markets and mergers is all about, the club held contests of skill, did philanthropic activities for Elmbrook Hospital, and were ac- tive in the March of Dimes: quite the active club.
