Each year students are nominated by teachers and are then selected as members. The society may be considered a goal for some, to others a priviledge. Nevertheless, East is proud to have the membership they do. Where civilization be, for that matter? Art is the essence of our daily life. From the alarm clocks that wake us up to the houses we live in, and the cars we drive, art is in- volved in all we do. We think art, eat art, walk art, talk art, we are art! Interested in Germany, the language, the people, and the customs of the country? Or does your family have a German background that may interest you? The club for you is the German club.
