CHESS CLUB Pawn to Queen's Bishop four. Queen to King seven, check mate! Sound familiar? If it does, you're obviously a chess player. Truly an absorbing game, chess has endured the cen- turies to become a popular sport, and it is a sport. Anyone watching a chess player in action would see that his one most powerful muscle is hard at work-his brain. CLOCKWISE: Ingo Mahn, Scott Charleboix, Eric Berridge, Kirk Berridge, Mark Kressin, Debbie Eckmann, Jeanette Geder, Mary Myers, Rick Both. STANDING: Mr. Kroening tadvisorl, Jim Mueller, John Sopsick. Do you consider yourself aggresive or do you sit back and surprise the crowd? Whichever, debate accepts either type. Getting your point across is im- portant and your stategy is also. Coached by Ms. Seiser, the 75-76 team had a D E very successful time beating other teams. Debate offers more than just arguing your views. Research and hard work are put into each meet and the team must be aware and alert for rebuttle arguments. Congratulations for a fine season team! Jim Schoen, Mark Gloudeman, Tom Kent, Bruce Kirchoff, Dave Moegenburg. Ms. Seiser fadvisori
