SECOND ROW: Mr Axe (Sponsor), Virginia Guthrie, Donna Harris, Carol Sell, Joe Schuster, John Haynes, Bob Cunningham. Marvin Pickett, Carol Anderson, Miss Rollings (Sponsor). FIRST ROW: Pat Fowler, Rita Evans. Sue Tunksley, Sue Carol Hendry, Peggy Cain, Eileen Griffin. Martha Riegle, Diana Lash. Phyllis Fowler. Junior Class Here is the ambitious Junior Class. The officers are as follows: President, Clarence Leitzow; Vice-President, Pat Fowler; Secretary And Treasurer, Rita Evans The activities for this class included the play, ’’Grandpa’s Twin Sister presented last fall, sale of magazine subscriptions, selling at eight of the home basketball games, and the Junior And Senior banquet and Prom. These people made quite a reputation for themselves as salesmen. Eight of the boys played on the basketball team, and Phyllis Fowler was a cheerleader. Eleven of the class played in the band and all the girls sang in the chorus. All in all they were quite ambitious and what was their goal? This year the prom and the banquet with better things to come next year. 28

Mr. Miller (Sponsor), Jim Brewer, Wayne Downs, John Conn, Jim Brunton, James Plott, John Hammon. Alice McCarth, Margie Malott, Sue Jackson, Betty Riegle, Alice Deardurff, Elinor McCarth, Geraldine Tichacek. The Sophomore class has twenty-two members: twelve boys and ten girls. Mr. Miller has been the class sponsor for the last two years. The officers of the class were: Rex Whaley, President; Wayne Downs, Vice-President; and Sue Jackson, Secretary And Treasurer. The activities of the class included sponsoring the Annual Christmas Dance, several bake sales, and several parties. 29
