Linfurtunately wc weren't altle to follow these gallant gentlemen as they drove their way to victory along the green fairway of tht- city golf course. for no spectators were permitted--none. that is. lint Xlr. llharles lfafcrella. their macli. advisor. and sole source of encouragement. He did. though. pass on the w ord that the prospects looked good for the coming season as wc wcnt to press. Although the team had finished second in the city the prcxious year. walking away with the Nlanllattan and Bronx Championshilvs. tht-y anticipated hard work tu attain such achiexemcnt this year. Con- sulting the schedule of ewnts. Rcm.w1'1'll. Clirzlmz and Tuff were tht- teams to watch out for. Those boys on the team to w hom we looks-d for victorious matchcs were Captain .-Xron Schiller. Steve Furtgang. Dave lireithart. Danny Schulze-r. Marty lficltert. Ira Adler. and Arthur Tiger. Nlr. Werlilnw. the teams coach since its founding nine years ago. w as confident that the team w ill play good luall.
