Cooch Fisher felt that the guys had been great to work with and that a few breaks in the opening games might have meant a much different outcome for the season. With 30 freshmen on the team if was o season of youth ond inexperience, but in spite of this Coach Moon felt his boys did o very outstanding job ond enjoyed working with them. During his four-year Varsity Basketball career, Mark ployed at both the forward and center positions. His many accomplishments include being named to the UPI All-State ream his Freshman, Junior and Senior year; scoring a school record total of 1910 points throughout the four years; and setting another new record of 49 points for a single game. He has a career average of 56.3% in field goal shooting and 75% in free throw shooting. Mark has, by his hard work, determination and humility, set a good example for other students to follow. The game causing the ream the greatest disappointment ended in an 11-10 score agoinsr Bellevue which resulted in Bellevue taking first place in the league and Bronson second. In the beginning of the season the ream was largely inexperienced and since they are losing only three seniors they hope to be much stronger for another year. For this year the program was set up on o double elimination basis and each contest consisted of two 30-minute halves. Each ream was composed of five members with substitutions being mode at the half. Some of the other schools in the league hod been port of o similar program previously, but for Bronson this was o first” and students performed very well.
