Officers of the Girls' Athletic Association are. from left to right, Sharon Roudebush, Nancy Moeller, Connie Szafranski. Judy Davidson, and Mrs. Whitcomb, advisor. Every Monday evening after school the Girls' Athletic Association held their weekly meeting . Points were earned by attendance at these meetings. During the year, they sponsored a supper for the football and basketball players. An initiation was held for the new members of this organization, and the entire association enjoyed tobogganing at Echo Valley during the winter. Thespians Participate in Dramatic Arts Thespian officers are, from left to right Dan Ward, treasurer; Jo Keeslar, scribe; Susan Martin, vice-president; Diana Baker, president; and Barbara Rzep-ka, secretary. MISS CHISHOLM Advisor Thespians is an honorary organization for students who have participated in the dramatic arts program of Bronson High School. Attaining a better mastery of language, developing poise, and appreciating dramatic literature and its techniques are the things for which this organization is striving. Handicap System Equalizes Teams Girls' Bowling this year consisted of seven teams with four girls on a team. For the first time, the girls used the handicap system for keeping teams equal. Under this system, both teams added up the averages of their players. After both totals were found, then the team having the highest total gave 75 of the difference to the other team. This way, if a less skilled team is playing a better one, they can have a good chance of winning. Mrs. Henry Piatt devoted much time and effort in helping the girls learn how to become better bowlers. Karen Czajkowski shows us how it's done. - 17
