Seniors Present Many hours of hard work were spent on this year’s Senior Play, Drums of Death.” For each and every member of the cast and crew, their sincere efforts paid off when the play was presented on Friday, November 11, 1960, Many thanks are extended to Miss Patricia Chisholm, under whose skillful and meticulous direction, the Senior Class was able to produce a very successful and enjoyable play. A group of oddly contrasting people arrive at midnight at the half-ruined mansion in the desolate la- Jules (David Lane) watches on as Celeste (Cynthia Konst) puts Paula Bailey (Sharon Jeffery) Into a trance. r Drums oj Death ” goon. By the time they realize that the telegrams that summoned them to this place were false, it Is too late for them to escape from this weird place. They struggle to solve the mystery of this place, the cabinet containing death, the hooded figure, the ghost, the monster, and back of it all, the insistent, dull, throbbing signal of the mysterious drums. All In all It made a very intriguing and enjoying play. 6 -

Juniors Present Doctor Hudson s Secret Journal' Bontempini’s talk to Dr. Hudson about Tony's operation. Doctor Hudson’s Secret Journal was presented by the junior class on March 25, 1961. The plot which surrounded this play was Doctor Hudson's trying to persuade Mr. Warner to sell a part of land which was adjacent to the hospital. It is surprising how such a simple situation gets so involved. This play truly contained all the elements of a very good play - love, suspense, and comedy. Members of the junior class wish to extend their thanks to Miss Chisholm and to all the other people who helped to make their play the huge success that it was. - 8 -
