 Ancient year of 1953 ----strange little creatures creeping toward the door of learning---who?!? - - - the beginning of the fun-loving Class of '57. FRESHMEN!--------first day in B. H.S. - - - teachers and upper- classmen scaring us half to death - - - no more recesses — - girls chasing boys-----gaining confidence - - - subjects getting harder - - - love affairs - - - breakups - - - freshman initiation (such as it was) - - - Bronson's first Sadie Hawkins Dance - — biology, bugs, frogs, ugh! SOPHOMORES I ! - - - romance--------going steady------serving at the Prom-----living tor Friday nights - - - ordering class rings. JUNIORS 111 - - - receiving and exchanging class rings — -Junior Play, Seventeen Is Terrific! ----huge success - - - compliments --------------------------------selling refreshments at ball games - - - B. H.S. 's first Record Hop - — scruptious Prom, Rhapsody in Blue.” SENIORS!!!!------love affairs - - - marriages - - - Senior por- traits, name cards, announcements, and other money-grafting propositions - - - Senior Play, Curtain Going Up - - - colossal success - - - food, food, and more food----chili supper, penny supper, candy sales, bake sales - - - $UPER-salesmen - - - card sales, magazines sale, watermelon sales, bracelet sales, car washes--money, money, money, money, money ! - - - the long-awaited SENIOR TRIP to Washington, D.C. - - - finally a small white diploma, symbol of four years of hard work, studying, and fun - - - girls with tearful faces ----boys with something in their eye -----underclassmen missing our intelligent-looking faces around B.H. S.--leaving our shining example of the perfect class to the future senior class, hoping they will try, as we have done, to live up to the motto we have set as our standard, Never Give Up. The officers of the senior class this year have been very busy. They have been leaders in all the activities in which the class has participated. Through their cooperation and help the Senior class is accomplishing its ultimate goal, the Senior trip and graduation. The officers hold the following positions: Norman Copeland, President; Marilyn Yesh, Secretary; Janice Sikorski, Vice President; Zenia Bronowicz, Treasurer; Larry Kern. Assembly Representative; Martha Wanar. Darian Wiler, Student Council Representatives. Denice Sebalj S kOHA Ul Two of the busiest people at Bronson High were our Senior Class advisors. They have been a great help to the class with their advice work, experience. The Senior class would like to take this opportunity to say, We appreciate all that our advisors have done for us.
