Without them, many of us could not go on to follow our desired occupation after completion of high school. We owe these men the thanks for the fine school, faculty, and equipment. Doug Perry Completing his sixth year at Bronson, Mr. Carpenter has really been a great help to all the students as well as to the community. We, the class of 57, ” are very grateful to him for all the fine cooperation he has given us throughout our high school years. Janet Nowicki MR. GEORGE CARPENTER Go ask Marie, is a very good answer around Bronson High School when a question is asked that is hard to answer. Mrs. Tracy is our superintendent's secretary. Marie also handles secretarial work for the Board of Education, administration, and faculty. We would all like to thank her for all the help she has given us during our high school years. Glenna Michael MRS. MARIE TRACY MR. HEISLER Gareth Heisler has been teaching in the Bronson High School for eleven years and has been principal for nine of these years. He received his B.S. at Manchester College and his Master's at the University of Michigan. This year he is the advisor for the Student Council as well as for the newly formed Inter-Council. Alan Cary MR. FRENCH William French has taught at Bronson for the last four and one-half years. For the last two years he has assumed the duties of Assistant Principal. Although we had fourteen veterans back, a few key men missed some or all of the ball games because of injuries or other reasons. The Vikings showed good quality but not too much size. The Junior Vikings began a fine season with their spirits high. The team suffered a loss at the beginning but came back fighting. They showed an excellent record for the season and teamwork was displayed by them throughout their various games. The 1956-57 Student Council is now in its twenty-first year serving the students of Bronson High School. The Council meets each Monday to discuss problems of the students, All-Hi parties, the noon-hour recreation program, and other activities. This year the Student Council proved to be very helpful to the Student Body. Carolyn Kibiloski The Inter-Council is a newly organized group, made up of the Little-C Schools. Each school has four delegates. There are two delegates elected at the end of each year from the Sophomore class, so that there will be experienced workers in office at all times. It is affiliated with the National Thespian Organization. Bronson's chapter received its charter in 1955. Charter members, who are still present members, are Miss Chisholm and Mrs. Tharp, an honorary member. Members are nominated and received into Thespians twice yearly. The outstanding project of this Thespian Troupe is presenting the three one-act plays in the spring of each year. When George Miller, the genial son of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Miller, mentioned this fact, the whole family decided that they would spend an evening at home. The Chorus, composed of the choir and Girls' Glee Club, is preparing for a spring concert. It is featuring a Cantata Operetta, entitled Our America, which is a portrayal of life in America.
