Board of Education Bern-am B, Ward Laurence Wohlers Robert Ryan Elwood Bancroft N B, H1gb1e On the second Wednesday of every month we see about four or flve cars parked 1n front of the school and so we know that the Board of Educat1on IS havlng 1ts monthly meetlng N B Hlgble and Elwood Bancraft were elected as the two new trustees thls July Also servlng on the Board of Educatlon are Bertram B Ward Presldent Laurence Wohlers Secretary and Robert Ryan Treasurer who has served 111 th1s capaclty very ably for forty years The Board of Education helps Mr Carpenter m the runnmg of the school hlrmg the teachers and m trymg to prov1de modern adequate fac1l1t1es for the students We the Class of 1956 feel deeply mdebted to the Board of Education for providing us w1th our every need in the l1ne of buildings and teachers We are very fortunate in havmg been able to use the new spacious gym com merclal department shop department music department and other new classrooms The add1t1on to the Central School lncluding the gym are truly a sign that the Board of Educatlon IS lookmg toward the future m all their building plans Carol Pearce
