Honor Students .f CAROL ANN PEARCE JERRY HQUGHTON BETTY LOU HORKEY Valediotorian of the Class of 1956 was Carol Ann Pearce Carol had a fmal average of 4 0 She 1S the daughter of Mr and Mrs Gerald Pearce Carol has partlclpated in many extra curricular activities such as, band, choir, Speech Club Thespians, Junior and Senior Class plays, Speech plays, and Treasurer of the Student Council In the fall Carol plans to attend Michigan State University Jerry Houghton is a well known student to h1S classmates in Bronson High School and he has been very active in sports throughout h1s school years This year Jerry was named Salutatorian of his class Jerry has also participated 111 many extra activities such as track and baseball, and vice president of his class m h1s sophomore year Betty Lou Horkey was Historian of the graduating class of 1956. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Horkey. Betty attended St. Marys during her early school years and came to Bronson High School as a freshman.
