Being mentally exhausted, physically wrecked, but not quite financially embarrassed after our senior trip, we hereby will and bequeath the following: We, the Senior Class, will to the school its name in blue letters to be placed on the front of the building. We, the Senior Class, will to the Junior Class our privilege of going to lunch early and our back seats in the auditorium. I, Jack Bass, will my executive ability to Lee Martin in hopes he will be class pres- ident, and my bright unused ideas to Ed Campbell. I, Roy Barber, will my lack of boisterousness to Elwin Standridge. I, Dot Berryhill, will part of my temper to Ann Child if she will get mildly excited one time. I, Larry Bumett, will one pair of my orange trousers to Luther Drummond. I wish to keep the others. I, Sandra Cobb, will my ability to get my sewing projects finished before the last minute to Vicki Spray. I, Lee Cook, will my ability to shoot goals and to go steady to Phillip Anderson. I, Glenn Cutchens, will my ability to score in mathematics on the senior tests to Elwin Standridge in hopes that it will enable him to pass. I. Pat Dean, will my ability to swing my beads on the stage to Pam Owen. l, Portia Dean, will my rhythmic ability in cheerleading to Anita White. I, Ginger Ellzey, will my footwork on the basketball court to Joyce Anderson, my graduation ICZIS to Joan Yearty, and my ability to get an engagement ring to Vicki Spray. I, Jackie Faircloth, will my place by the smoking tree to Elwin Standridge. I, Leaun Funderburk, will some of my good looks to Kenny Corbin in hopes it will help him get a steady. I, Warren Gilbert, will my football uniform to James Tucker provided he will make All-Conference in it as I did. I, Buddy Goodson, will my ability to do things without getting caught to Al Qualls. I, Adene Jerrels Beal, will my ability to get my man to Mary Lou Lovett. I, Mary McDavid, will my ability to play any position on the basketball team to Virginia Goodson. I, Mac McKoy, will part of my ability to win awards to Earl Crews, and my excess pounds to Joe Ellzey. I, Margie Meeks, will my ability to keep a straight face on the stage to Carolyn Garner. I, Sarah Robbins, will my daydreams to Joan Yearty. I, Judy Standridge, will to Edward Campbell fduring school hours onlyy my sister, Patsy. I, Doyle Watson, will my calm manner to Kenneth Ulmer. senior class prophecy The year is 1970. We tune in on our Spy-in-the-Sky Satellite to find out what has happened to our class. Jack Bass' wish for a Corvette got sidetracked by a curvette brunette. Sandra Cobb graduated from F.S.U. with a Major in Home Economics and is running an exclusive dress designing and sports wear shop at the Cedar Key Marina. She also has a branch shop on Antarctica. Doyle Watson is doing a profitable business of trapping 'gators and otters in the wilds of Gulf Hammock. He has the skins made up into the best quality shoes and coats. Sarah Robbins will be called a spinster soon unless she finds her man with a yacht, oil wells, and owner of Manhattan Island. Dot Berryhill has been the hit of Broadway for several years and has been voted Best Actress of the Theater of Bronson. Her specialty is imitating Yankee tourists who come to Florida. Larry Burnett joined the circus and is a clown. Roy Barber is now touring Levy County on a publicity tour for the Florida Game and Fish Commission because he won the prize for fishing the longest time without catching anything. Lee Cook became the first man into space - it seems he and Kay disagreed on some matter. Pat Dean is so noted for her cooking ability that she is now a consultant to the Chef at the White House - we just don't know which white house. Ginger Ellzey is still looking for that 'Little Brown Church in the Wildwood. Judy Standridge is in Europe to get away from it all - it seems that her little sister stole her heart's desire while she was away on the senior class trip. Jacky Faircloth is now the Chief Deputy on the Governor's Staff. All he has to do is ride around in a limousine. Leaun Funderburk is now a Circuit Judge in Alaska. He moved there so he could enjoy skiing. He got tired of Florida swimming. Warren Gilbert after going steady with Mary Lou for nine years eloped with a blonde who stopped over at Lyn's for a meal. Buddy Goodson has won three scientific white ribbons at the Universal Fair for being the first person to find out how to square a circle. Adene Ierrels Beal is one of those rare creatures, a contented housewife. Margie Meeks operates a concession stand on a space ship. Mac McKoy decided he liked the cold storage business. After receiving his Ph.D. degree he opened up a world-wide chain based in Antarctica. Mary McDavid is a successful farmer. She raises watermelons, cows, and children. Glenn Cutchens is known world-wide for his Drag Racing. His forty Ford coupe is the hottest thing on four wheels. 1970 cars have no wheels. Portia Dean operates the cheerleader clinics in the summer now for the whole state of Florida at her estate as a hobby. Since she has been doing this, l-lorida is known for having the best cheerleaders in the entire nation. senior class ploy MUMBO-IUMBO directed by Mrs. Eleanor Thompson Sarah Reynolds John Reynolds Dick Reynolds Pee Wee Smith Tweety Peaches Monahan Lem Marblehead Ema Burpee Daisy Harold Custer Mrs. Custer Friday, May 6, 1960 GINGER ELLZEY LEAUN FUNDERBURK I ACK BASS MAC MCKOY DOROTHY BERRYHILL PAT DEAN IACKEY FAIRCLOTH DOYLE WATSON MARY MCDAVID SANDRA COBB WARREN GILBERT SARAH ROBBINS Mr. Beamish LEE COOK Kay Samedi JUDY STANDRIDGE Madame Celesta MARGIE MEEKS Doctor Omahandra BUDDY GOODSON Extras GLEN CUTCHENS, LARRY BURNETT, ROY BARBER, PORTIA DEAN, ADENE IERRELS Lighting LARRY BURNETT Prompter ADENE IERRELS Fix 'Y A U 'W 'fl 'n un N af KRW! 1 Ulm U' -4, ,-111-B ,q. :vw -lk v, vs, , IA' ,. afi- L.: ,,..-n L m . . ,Q 1 Q' ' Wasil!
