BASKFTBALL Bronson's first team won second place in the M V L tournament The first team beat La Harpe 26 17 and upset Elsmore 35 33 Bronson was defeated by Uniontown 1n the finals 62 33 Bronson's second team took thlrd place in the M V L tournament, beating Moran 38 20 the first night 1os1ng to Uniontown 41 22 and winning from Fulton 30 29 Bronson played sixteen regular games and three in the tournament The first team won seven games and the second team won eight games Bronson played the following towns and their scores are as follows Stark Csecond team, Lost Cfirst teamj Fulton Kincaid Won Elsmore Moran La Harpe Stark Uniontown Colony Fulton Horan Kincaid La Harpe Colony Uniontown The basketball boys deeply appreciated the party given them by the business people at the closing of the season New uniforms will be a highlight at the starting of the next basket ball season They will be white satin pants and jerseys trimmed in white The student body worked hard getting contributions for the radio phonograph combination The proceeds go to purchasing a new basket ball score clock This new clock will be installed by the starting of the next season The first team participated in the dlstrict tournament at Moran, March 2 and 3 The first night they played La Harpe, defeating them by a score of 40 22 The following night Bronson was defeated by Moran with a score of 41 26 Following the basketball season the boys held class tournaments The seniors were victorious by defeating the sophomores and juniors This is the second consecutive year this particular group has won the class tournament paw' Pc 'A Fur-af Team 18-20 20-27 L. 22-31 L. 33-36 L. 28-13 17-25 L. . 13-21 L. 41-21 L. 21-19 W. 35-27 L. 28-30 L. 38-18 W.
