H. S. to start on the broad field of learn- ' ing. This group consisted of eight girls and fourteen Q boys. Some of the boys entered in football an-d basket- I ball, orchestra and glee club. The girls entered in or- C - chestra, glee club, and girls basketball. I 5 This class was unfortunate enough to lose foul' I , students, Benny Keith, who is attending Iola, Marian li f Rife, who is attending Blue Mound, Mary Martin and 5 E George Bowers. We also gained a new student, Carl i , Anderson. 3 Some of the highlights of the year were the Junior- 6 Senior Banquet, Junior-Senior Carnival, and Junior - Pie Supper. We wish to express our gratitude to Mr. Jenkins, our sponsor for working with us and We are Sincerely . hoping to be back together next year as dignified Seniors. f I Sophomores In September, 1946, eleven students enrolled in the sophomore class. One of our girls, Faye Norman, moved away this fall. All four girls take orchestra, glee club and pep club. Three boys went out for football while all six went out for basketball.
