Senior Sneak On April 24, 1947, after their Junior-Senior Ban- quet the Qeniors leit l'o1 Bella Vista Ar n , to ' , ka sas on their sneak day. They arrived at their destination about 2:30 Friday morning. They enjoyed 3 nice nap beiole arising about 4:UU a. ni., when -they started their three day exploration of the surrounding coun- try. The first city visited was Bentonville where they dined. Other cities visited were Rogers, Gravette, Fayetteville and Springdale. The most outstanding sights were the Wonderland cave at Bella Vista, the Spanish Treasure cave, which was the largest visited, located five miles north of Gravatte, and the Civil War underground store room located between Gravette and Bentonville. Other beautiful sights were the apple and peach orchards in bloom and crystal clear springs and streams which flow through the magnificent countryside. On Sunday morning the group packed their grips and bid farewell to the beautiful s-tate of Arkansas. The car driven by Lloyd Broughton followed the same route on' which they went down. The group in Supt. Woods car came back through Oklahoma and visited tie Grand Lake :at Grove. Oklahoma. Whrn thex' reached home all were tired but ad- :nittged they had probably seen some of the most beaut- iful c-ountry in the llnlted States.
