Class History In the fall of 1943, Eighteen green freshmen en- rolled at B. H. S. to start their high school career. Class officers were: presidenrt, Bud Camacg vice- president, Pat Reagan, secretary, John Joe King, treasurer, Dean Pratt, student council representa- tives, Lorena Young and Herbert Woodcock, Mr. Os- born was sponsor and Miss Merritt. After initiation -they were full members of B. H. S. The first business adventure of the class was the sale of magazine subscriptions sponsored by the Curtis Publishing Company. The class proved to be very ef- ficient salesmen, with a neat profit. When the class rerturned for the sophomore year, their to-tal xi as twelve.Class officers were: president, Pat Reagang vice-president, Herbert Woo-dcockg sec- retary, Bud -Camacg treasurer, Dean Pratt, student council representatives, Betty McHenry and Ray Mar- tin. The sponsor was Mrs. McKinley, The junior year was a very busy and happy 0116- The enrollment was nine. Officers were as follows: president, B i l l Callaway, vice-president, Herbert Woodcockg secretary. Irene Rowethg treasurer, Dean Pratt: student council representatives, Lorena Young and Bud Camac. Miss Yencie was sponsor. Their play Take it Easy was a success despite bad weather. Their pie supper and sales at the Basket Ball Tournament made them sure of finances. One of the most enjoyed events was their banquet in which they carried out a rainbow theme. Ten seniors returned to complete high school at B. H. S. Officers were: president, Bill Callaway, vice- president, Herbert Woodcock, secretary, Irene Row- ethg treasurer, Dean Pratt, student council represen- tatives, Lorena Young and Ray Martin. Dwaine Bur- rows was president of student council. Sponsor Was Bill Wolfe, succeeded by Mrs. Darrell Wood. The annuals made by the 1947 seniors will hold many future enjoymenrts for members of B. H. S. The members of the class will never forget the happy days spent at B. H. S.
