Ray Toney President of Vassar College for Women Poughkeepsie, New York My dear Mr. Toney: I would like to congratulate you on your latest achievement that of being chosen as President of Vassar College for Women. Just recently I visited with a few of the graduating class of 1954-55 and some of the teachers and I thought you might be interested in what they are doing. As you know I own Pan American Airlines. One day I decided to visit the different stations of my airline company and happened to bump into an old high school buddy of mine. Her name was La Trelle Smith, who is one of the two top Fashion Designers in the world. In her spare time she runs the state of Arizona with an iron hand. No wonder they have so much iron in the iron pits. I left La Trelle and went to New York City where the Harlem Globetrotters were having a game with the University of Oklahoma and guess who was coach of the Globe- trotters '? Yep, you guessed it, it was Kenneth Lowe. I talked with him awhile and he said he was marrying La Trelle if she would agree to it. From New York I hopped to Los Angeles, California. This being my last stop I de- cided to spend a little time looking up a few of my old teachers that taught me in Bromide High School. I found the Martins in Hollywood. Donna Jo was just finishing her latest film which was I Have Something, You Don't . Sue had finished her last year in college and was all a-flutter because she was going into the big world. Mrs. Martin WHS trying her best to Catch up with Donna Jo in the movies, Mr. Martin was at home cooking the meals for the family. Randy is in his last year in high school. From Sunny? California I went home to Miami, Florida, but while on the plane I saw Mr. Whelchel who had been to Washington. He's owner of the Empire State Building in New York. Joan was just finishing her freshman year in college, while Mrs. Whelchel was try- ing to keep tabs on Mr. Whelchel who always seem to be going places in the United States. She said she was getting to like America better all the time. She had just visited the old home town of Bromide and she said everyone was fine there. Mrs. Keirsey, after serving a long term as Professor of English at Southeastern College has retired to her home in Texas-The famous King Ranch . I must close now as I have an executive meeting in about thirty minutes and I must freshen up a bit. Respectfully Submitted, I 4 Imogene Wisdom Owner of Pan American Airline Corp. 9 0 r gf.
