 We stand by yesterday's shadow and wonder at tomorrow; building each new dream in crowds and silence, in darkness and the light of day. We flounder and grasp and laugh and weep, each knowing feelings untouched by words. So we shall find ourselves in each new day and at last the answers lie somewhere at the bottom of the day. Rod McKuen As the doors of education open, a new part of your life begins. This is filled with achievements, moments of felicity, trials, and tribulations, friendships, and participation in various school activities. We the Senior Class of 1971 hope that this volume of the WARRIOR may preserve the fond memories for many many years to come. DEDICATION We, the Warrior Staff of 1971 are proud to dedicate this annual to the Broken Bow School’s Music Department. This department which consists of two sections, band and choir, plays a very important and essential part in making the Broken Bow school system one of the finest in the nation. Beverly Baker The choir under the direction of Mr. Gary Dobbins is very active. During the course of the year it presents many excellent concerts which usually include both classical and popular songs. Each year the choir like the band participates in the District Music Contest. It has in the past years brought back many excellent ratings from this contest. The choir has for several years put on a musical production for the community such as LIL’ ABNER, and BYE BYE BIRDIE. These productions have turned out very well, and brought in many favorable comments from the community. 4
