A MESSAGE . . . Your Key To Success May I dare each of you to get your key to success and use it? The key to success is the selecting of a well defined goal on the basis of your abilities and interest and then working hard to achieve the goal you selected. Men and women with goals in life succeed while men and women without goals fail, because those with goals know where they want to go and those without them don't. If you want to be a good student you will be, if you really want to make the Choir, the Band, be a Regent winner, you will. If you care enough for a result, you will certainly attain it. If you wish to be rich, you will be rich; if you wish to be learned, you will be learned. If you wish to be good, you will be good, only you must wish these things with all your heart, mind and soul and not at the same time wish one hundred other incompatible things. Which key do you want? Again I dare you to select yours and go to work to achieve it. This will not be an age of mediocrity; it will be one of greatness or catastrophe. Congratulations to each of you who is already on your way to your goal. Sincerely, CONGRATULATIONS . . . Congratulations to the annual staff in this very fine yearbook. You should be proud of a job well done. I am sure you will find many hours of pleasure when you look back through your annual and recall the happy hours spent at Broken Bow High School. To the Class of '61, best wishes and may your every endeavor be an experience which will help mold those solid characteristics which will lead to success in your future. Sincerely,
”
