The four corner stones of success are: Character, Health, Personality and Knowledge. It is true that only about one-third of your success will generally depend on the knowledge you possess and two-thirds on your character, health and personality. However, the knowledge you possess generally improves, tremendously, the other three attributes. Crime is costing the United States TWENTY BILLION dollars a year. Crime is a result of failure to build good character. Good character comes from the development of a clear understanding of what is right and wrong and the courage to do what is right, regardless of the consequences. Your Broken Bow Faculty challenges each of you to build well these four corner stones of success into your life. May I congratulate each of you and also each member of the Broken Bow staff who counsel and guide you. This 1960 Warrior represents many hours of effort on the part of the staff and its advisor. All of you are to be congratulated on your very fine production. In the years to come, this 1960 Warrior will bring many hours of enjoyment to its owners. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the Seniors of 1960 for a job well done. May the days spent at Broken Bow High School live among your fondest memories. May the educational experiences here open up a brand new world for you and may you continue to seek out and learn even after you have left the doors of your school. To those students who have not yet completed high school, I hope you will realize the importance of a good education and that you will strive to do your best.
