if ,f,,, 'K-.. FAREWELL, OLD SCHOOL This was a fine red brick school in 1912 and was the home of the Broken Bow Grade and High School, with Mr. Charles Strawn as superintendent. Four students were grad- uates from the high school in 1916. During the time the high school was housed here, three other superintendents also served. They were E. C. Grubbs, R. K, Mclntosh and G,C, Anderson. The present high school was built in 1936. This building served its generation in the fi.nest tradition but it has served its days of usefulness. A new modern twenty class room building is under construction and before another issue of the Savage the old building will be no more.

DEDICATION K For a number of years W. H. C1uck,.Jr. 'has been associated with the Broken Bow school and community. He graduated from the Broken Bow High School in 1927. Since that time he has resided here and has given of his time and tal- ents to the improvement of the commtmity. For nineteen years he served as a member of the Board of Education. For his loyalty, devotion, and service to the Broken Bow schools, the Annual staff respectfully dedicates this volume of the Savage to him.
