O . Our Select Choir, under the leadership of Mrs. Leila S. Dalton, is an organization of4'7th, 8th and X 9th grade students who have been selected for their outstanding interest and ability in the field of choral music. We began our year by singing for a County Teacher's Meeting here in Broken Arrow in October, Then in December we gave our annual Christmas Concert in conjunction with the Symphonic Band. It was during this concert that the spotlight decided to blow a fuse and we sang the rest of the concert in the dark. The week before Christmas vacation, we had a Caroling Party and sang for the five Nursing Homes in Broken Arrow. After Christmas, we settled down to work toward District Contest to be held in Tahlequah on March 17. This was really hard work but the trip was fun. Then came our Spring Program on April 27-28. This year has been lots of fun and lots of hard -work but it has been worth every minute of it. rw Y xl 8I x T, N' L
