The Symphonic Band was presented at their annual Christmas Concert on December 13, 1965. The band will also play a joint band concert with the High School Concert Band on March 11 besides their annual Spring Concert in April with the other three junior high school bands. The Symphonic Band will also participate in the District Instrumental Music Contest at Okmulgee on March 18. If the band receives a Superior rating at Okmulgee, they will at- tend the State Instrumental Music Contest to be held in Chickasha on April 10-11. During the 1964-65 school year, the Symphonic Band was selected as one of the top ten junior high school bands in the state. We are proud of our Symphonic Band and look forward to an even more successful year during 1965-66.
