These students are enrolled in the new SMSG math' course being taught for the first time in Broken Arrow High. Mr. O. R. Wilson explains a math problem to two high school math students.

These boys learn how im- portant it is to keep accurate records even down on the farm. V06'f4f!0!Vf4l f46'15'!6WlfM9f The Successful Farmer of Tomorrow Is the Future Farmer of Today. Vocational Agriculture is the teaching of scientific agriculture on a vocational basis. In keeping with the principal of agriculture, the science taught is practical because learn- ing by doing is stressed. The first requirement for enrolling in agri- culture is an intense agriculture interest. Second, a desire and willingness to develop a farming program, owned andrnanaged by the student. under the supervision of the teacher and parents. These requirements are a must. The four years of agriculture instruction is based on problems in livestock, crops, soils, and farm shop. The courses offered in this department include: Vocational Agriculture I 9th Grade Vocational Agriculture II 10th Grade Vocational Agriculture H1 llth Grade Vocational Agriculture IV 12th Grade The boys at left are learning of the many publications which are available to lend assistance to their farm program. Many of these publications are made available through their department.
