We have just such a leader in Superintendent C. S. Anderson who has been with this school three years and has brought it up to the high standard required of good high schools. Under his jurisdiction much progress has been made and different classes added. He has made a study of the curricula of schools which resulted in the organization of a junior high school in which the pupils are now prepared to enter senior high without experiencing that 'green feeling' formerly feltg and in the addition, in the senior high school, of extra-curricular activities which will help the pupil to gain an insight into some of the professions which he might enter. Each year a class of graduates goes out to seek its fortune in the world, much better prepared for having been in school at Broken Arrow. Its members are going out and making themselves prominent in the business and social world because of the wise training of his faculty of teachers. . He has-shown himself sympathetic with pupils and helpful to them. .He.realizes that school is to prepare citizens, that the big thing in a boy's life is his attitud towards work and life in general. - ' .. . .
