Uillung - - - School Board Manages Performance Our School Board is the governing bodv through which the school program is constructed. and through their appointed supervisors and teachers they have directed our growth through the school vears. It is such a group elected bv the people to direct the functioning of our school that makes for power and strength giving to 'rs courage bv their splendid example to do the tasks that are ours. 'l'hev are a group of capable people, performing their citizenship duties to the best of their abilities. .-Ks thev earrv on the task set before themg expanding. enlarging. perfecting those ideas. ideals and customs which best promote the well-being ol' our people and our land. thev provide an education to prepare the young citizens to build a civilization of beauty and grandeur. Health Personnel Cheeks Performers Our two school doctors, Dr. Nicholas Lor- enzo and Dr. lf. Prestog the school nurse, Mrs. Valjean Kellev and her assistant, Mrs. Fave VVells. are in charge of the faculty and student health program. Some of their activities include periodic medical and dental examinations tln'ough which a case historv ol' each child is filed. The information obtained from these files give parents an opportunitv to correct any medical troubles before it is too late. Uur Administrator The teamwork of any circus performance is dependent upon the master of ceremonies. Mr. james L. Hysong has proved to be not only a most capable ringmaster, but also an all-around promoter of hetter educational facilities. Under hiin, the school has grown and expanded until it is now one of the finest training grounds for future performers in the world of tomorrow. Mr. Hysongfs interest in civic affairs has Mr. James L. llysong proved to he an asset in his work as supervising principal. He is admired by the students not only in his capacity as a competent advisor hut also as a friend who is always willing to lend his assist- ance at any time. Miss Lois Calhoun, secretary to Mr. Ily- song, is invaluahle to the school. She has helped not only Mr. Hvsong. hut anyone. teacher or student, who has needed her assistance.
