jnfmwnlwl We, the Senior Class of Brockway-Snyder High School, are proud to present this, the sixth edition of The Dawn. ln this issue we have patterned our lives to a play. Using our high school as a back- ground for this play, we have presented famil- iar views and faces to capture the setting. This drama of the year, beginning September 1950 and ending Iune 1951, was indeed a year of service, education, and recreation. As an additional feature, this year for the first time, The Dawn has paused to honor the graduates of the Class of 1901. These men and women are now celebrating their fiftieth anni- versary as members of one of the first gradu- ating classes of Brockway High School. The yearbook, a student project, would not be possible without the help and co-operation of the administration and the faculty of our school. We are also grateful to Kurtz Bros., Zimmerman Engraving Company, and our pho- tographer, Mr. Robert Merriman, for their tech- nical assistance. The entire class is deeply appreciative of the kindness and financial aid extended by the citizens, industries, and busi- nessmen of Brockway and the surrounding com- munities. We are indeed indebted to every per- son Who played his part and helped make this book's publication possible. The project accomplished, we humbly sub- mit to you the first three acts of our life as a pre- lude to the greatest drama of all. The book will be a success only if you, the reader, think it so. --- All the world's a stage, and all the men and Women merely players. They all have their exits and their entrances: and one man in his time plays many parts. -Shakespeare.
