EIGHTH GRADE BEGINS TO SHINE The eighth graders organized early in the Fall, hut concentrated their attention on matters strictly academic during the first semester. How- ever, when St. Valentines Day rolled around, they anxiously shed this air ot sophistication, carne hack to earth, and had a marvelous class party of peppy games, interspersed with danc- ing. The crowning ot their Valentine king tRichard lacohsl and his charming queen Close- phine Lockwood? highlighted the evenings en- tertainment. Yes, snuggly settled in the tangled wonder ot lite in high school, this class has successfully outgrown its junior high infancy and includes most eager participants at school functions. After six years in grade school we have finally gained admittance to Brockway-Snyder High School.
