Housemasters For the past seventeen years Dr. Claire Appling has managed and coordinated the faculty, students, and supportive staff of the Yellow Building. Dr. Appling works in conjunction with the Principal and other Housemasters to improve Brockton High Schools already high-standing reputation. She has advocated school pride in the Yellow Building and for the entire student body. She feels that the class of '88 has demonstrated great enthusiasm for the school. The class of 1988 has shown that they know their goals and are very sensible. Dr. Appling stated that the class is very mature both in attitude and behavior. She reminds the students of the graduating class that they are entering a world of diverse opportunities and she encourages students to explore not only a single career but to consider a dual career. By doing this. doors will be opened for new vocations and you will enrich your life by trying numerous avocations. Dr. Appling urges students to set goals commen- surate with your abilities. Do not be deterred from attaining your objectives. Always uphold your values to maintain self- discipline. - Kelly Long ft' DR. THOMAS CIBOTTI X 4 DR. CLAIRE APPLING Dr. Thomas Cibotti has worked at Brockton High school since 1962. Over the years. he has had the opportunity to explore both the teaching and administration fields. As the Housemaster of the Green Building. he is responsible for the entire Green Building. one half of the fine arts and a portion of the science and business faculty. Dr. Cibotti does his best to insure that his work is accomplished successfully. Through his administration and leadership. he has continued to better the learning atmo- sphere of the high school. As for the class of '88, Dr. Ciborti feels that they have shown academic excellence through their achievement and SAT exams. He also feels that our class has been more respectful towards education as an institution than students of ten or twelve years ago. Dr. Cibotti said he enjoys working with all the students at Brockton High, including the graduation class. His advice to the class of '88 is Always be the best you can possibly be. - Kelly Long

Housemasters NIR. CHRIS ARGYS Mr. Mario DiMarzo has been Housmaster of the Red Build- ing since 1971. He became a member of the Brockton High School faculty in 1958, and is an alumnus of our school, having graduated in 1946. There are many reasons for Mr. DiMarzo's pride in our school, but mostly it comes from the quality of our students and faculty and their many accomplishments over the years. He feels we have been blessed with many interested and cooperative students and parents who have been an active part of our educational process. Over the years, Mr. DiMarzo has seen many classes graduate. He feels the Class of 1988 has many talented members both in academic and non-academic skills. He advises the members of our graduating class to dwell on the more positive experiences of our lives and recommends we approach the future with determination and high goals. He congratulates all of us on our graduation and wishes us happiness, and a fair share of success, and Godspeed. - Kelly Long Azure building students can always expect a friendly hello from Mr. Chris Argys, their housemaster. His favorite part of his job is working and dealing directly with students. While overseeing classroom instruction and keeping the Azure building running smoothly, Mr. Argys can usually be found in the cafeteria, in a classroom, in the library, or in his office helping students and faculty with any problems that may have arisen. Mr. Argys feels that it is very important to give kids a fair chance , and he feels that the students' interest and input are vital parts of his job. Mr, Argys has a very strong sense of school spirit and pride that he hopes rubs off on Azure students. Senors will remember his telling them since their Freshman year to get involved and work hard, because their report card is their paycheck. As the seniors get their final BHS paychecks, Mr. Argys wishes them his congratulations and good wishes, and urges them to Never stop asking WHY. - Sherri Geller MR. MARIO DIMARZO

If F' Assistant Housemasters Good morning, this is Mr. Puliafico. l'd like to see the following people in A141 at the end of the registration room this morning. time, or committing some other offense. smoothly. BEST LIFE HAS T0 OFFER. - Sherri Geller MR. CHARLES PULIAFICO The Assistant Housemaster of the Red Building is Mr. Kenneth Cardone. He has held this position for the past eleven years. Like all of the Assistant Housemasters, he deals with the discipline and attendance of Students in the Azure Building look forward to this announcement every morning. They anxiously wait to see if they were caught cutting class, eating in the wrong cafeteria, being tardy for the seventh Unfortunately, many students do no realize that Mr. P's job does not entail only discipline. His other responsibilities include keeping attendance records correct and in order, helping students or I faculty members with any problems that may arise, and helping to keep the Azure Building running Mr. Puliafico extends his heartfelt congratulations to the class of '88 and wishes its members THE 1 the Red House students. He finds his job very enjoyable and satisfying, particularly when his is able to help a student from the beginning of high school to turn their lives around socially and academically over the next four years. Mr. Cardone feels the senior class carries on the tradition of all BHS graduating classes. The class of '88 has shown excellence in academics, arts, music, athletics, and other various clubs. Mr. Cardone's advice is to continue to develop all the interests and talents that you may have. - Kelly Long 3 - Daniela Sofia MR. RAYMOND BUSSOLARI As the Assistant Housemaster of the Green Building, Mr. Richard Zoino works in union with the Housemaster in the daily operation of the Green Building. His work is primarily related to the addressing of student-related problems. Mr. Zoino has for the past thirteen years gained the students' respect by helping them through high school's trying years. Mr. Zoino feels that class of '88 is realistic in thought and self-directed in preparing for future goals. He advises the class to always deal with people from a position of honesty and caring . He also urges the students to be aware of those people who may use you for their own personal gain, realizing, however, that those people are only a small portion of the human race . Mr. Zoino is very proud of the graduating class of '88 and states that, they have skillfully integrated those areas not only of academic excellence but also of social growth and genuine human concern . - Kelly Long MR. KENNETH CARDONE Mr. Raymond Bussolari, often called Mr. B . , is the Assistant Housemaster of the Yellow Building, and has been working there since Brockton High School opened in 1970. His job duties include supervising discipline, guiding and advising students, and handling their attendance. When asked to reflect upon the Class of 1988, he said, the class is a group of very interesting students, some of which show enough potential to be good leaders in the future. Mr. Bussolari's advice to the class of 1988 is that everybody has to find their space in life and when they find that space they should do the best job they possibly can. MR. RICHARD ZOINO
