synched rendition of Heard It through the Grapevine . What is bizarre about this you may ask? A stage full of California raisins in sung- lasses can answer that question. The runner up for Best Overall talent was super soloist Angeli- que Pleshette and our winners were Two Suave Chicks ,jessica Gain and Terri McMahon who shook the house down dancing to shake your Love . Although not all our contestants could re- ceive awards, they were all winners in the sense that they had the courage and the talent to perform in front of their peers. Talent Show if Y This year the Class of '88 gave us a lot to look at with the sensational production of a talent show featuring acts from singers, dancers, and lip-synchers to heavy metal bands and dancing fruits. The auditorium was filled to the brim for what proved to be a very different night which none of us will soon forget. The show, emceed by the dapper Dave Wedge decked out in a tux and sunglasses, held not only a great deal of talent but much excitement and many surprises as well. The awards were divided into three categor- ies, Most Bizarre, Most Original and Best Over- all Talent. The winners were, Most Original: Kara Leonard, Kim Tucker, Andrea Urciouli and Danielle Wong. This fabulous foursome danced a sparkling routine to Heartache . The Most Bizarre award was won by Karen Carney, Michelle Bereznik, Lea D'Amore, Amy Miller, Erica Steinberg and jodi Stork for their lip-

Semi Formal On the night of December 50th. 1987, the Senior Semi-Formal was held at Ridder Country Club in Whitman, The decor consisted of a senior collage of the best memories in '87, holiday bows and ol' course. plenty of snowflakes. Snow was not only in the Ridder but on the outside as well. Though the ground was covered with snow and the wind was icy cold, nothing could dampen our spirits or chill our cheer on this night. Soon after we arrived. the dinner was served as a buffet and couples had their pictures taken in the front hall. Then there was a lot to look at as our young ladies decked out in open-bellied shoclcers to long and lacy gowns and our young men in their chic suits warmed up on the dance floor, Our semi was made especially exciting by the roving camera man who filmed every moment from dinner to dancing. Some couples hid while other vivacious dancers flaunted their moves on a videotape made available to the students by Lincoln Studio.
