Mr. Robert Cahill Mr. Robert lBobj Cahill spent the greater part of his adult life, nearly thirty years, serving the students of Brockton High School as a United States history teacher. Always finn yet fair in his dealings with students, he is best remembered for his knack of applying his ingrained Gaelic sense of wit to the wisdom he imparted. Bob so loved teaching that he resigned from an important administrative position in the school department to retum to his calling as a shaper of young minds. The pun was his favorite form of h umor, and he made use of it whenever possible in his lessons, thereby prodding and provoking his classes into a better appreciation of the subtleties of the English language.
