Superintendent Mr. Manthala George Mr. Manthala George became Su- perintendent of schools only three years ago, but already he has had a lasting affect on the high school. Mr. George's experience includes being a teacher, a vice principal, and an administrative assistant. Mr. George says that what he enjoys most about his job is meeting with students, stall' and parents, which he does frequently, and resolving their concems about the Brockton 'QQ rw- tg-I School System. This past year Mr. George had the honor of receiving a near perfect score for his perfor- mance, from the Brockton School Committee. Through his develop- ment of fiscal responsibilities, per- sonal appointments to the school committee and recommendation regarding curriculum, Mr. George continues to improve the quality of education in Brockton. When asked about the class of '87 Mr. George said he was im- pressed by their success in the de- velopment of extra curricular activi- ties and was encouraged by their commitment to quality education. ln closing Mr. George gave the fol- lowing advice. Do the very best you can, all the time. Set high stan- dards and do your best to achieve these standards. Strive to develop your potential and don 't quit. by Luke Jorgenson
