Deca, better known as the school store, is run by students who have taken classes in retailing and business. Students gather experience in window displays, designing inte- rior showcases, and buying and selling merchandise, all of which will increase future knowledge for careers in the future. The Brockton High School Faculty works together as one to give each student the best educa- tion he or she can possibly re- ceive. Each department provides every student with the basic knowledge he will need to go on with a successful career. The stu- dents of B.H.S. would like to ex- press their extreme appreciation and gratitude to every member of the faculty for making our education a pleasurable and memorable experience. BUSINESS EDUCATIDN DEPARTMENT A CJ lcontinued from page 253 Today's world is changing so fast that it is impossible to pre- dict tomorrow. But we can gain a clearer picture of today by un- derstanding yesterday. The exceptional group of teachers who form the Special Education Department have much to be proud of. Their dedi- cation provides numerous pro- grams and services for handi- capped youths. These instructors often enlist the assistance of oth- er departments in order to main- stream the youths as much as possible. The Special Education Department continues to en- hance and make progress in the lives of handicapped youths. As Director of Athletics at Brockton High, Mr. Jack Sar- son's main goal is to get the maximum participation possible from all students in all area of sports. Mr. Sarson feels sports is vital to the learning process at B.H.S. People involved in athlet- ics learn a sense of self-confi- dence and pride in their team. It gives people a better chance to get to know one another and to give part of themselves to their team.
