ln lhe pasl four years we have learned a greal deal aboul ourselves and each olher. When we look back, we will remember our leachers, our classes, our school evenls, and especially our friends. Underlying lhese memories, and conceivably enriching lhem, will be lhe spiril we crealed and acquired. These years will perhaps be remembered as lhe happiesl and proudesl years of our lives. As freshmen, we found Brocklon High lo be overwhelming bul we soon adapled lo and became a parl of lhe school. Many of us gol involved in lhe clubs and aclivilies, made new friends, and experienced a sense of belonging which was aclually inslilled in us from our very Nrsl day here. We began lo involve ourselves in lhe spiril lhal was already al B.H. S. as well as creale our own sense of pride. Our second year, as sophomores, we were coniidenl of ourselves and very proud of our school. We blended logelher as we gol in- volved in more social evenls such as lhe Friday Nighl Dances. We parlicipaled in our Nrsl pep-rally al B.H.S. and allended sporls evenls. Our spiril was also acknowledge on lhe Black and l?ed Spiril Days. The 'pride was alive especially when we parlicipaled in lhe l982 Super Bo wl. Beginning our junior year, we had many lhings lo look for- ward lo. Allhough il was one of lhe loughesl, il was prob- ably lhe besl so far. We look on more academic responsi- bilily during lhis difHcull year. We mel lhe challenges of laking lhe SA T's and Achie vemenlTesls. We unlled loge lh- erin lhe march lo Cily Hall lo show our concern as well as pride for our school. Our Junior Prom, held in lhe spring of 1983, was dennilely an uplifling and spiriled evenl. ll was also an indicalion lhal our lhird year al B.H.S. was coming lo an end. This broughl us lo our Wnal and mosl imporlanl year, our senior year. We became more malure as we look on lhe responsibilily of selling examples for lhe underclassmen. We experienced lhe anxie ly and apprehension as we con- lemplaled whal we would do in lhe fulure. Anlicipalion also grew as lhe final even ls such as our Semi-Formal, Senior Prom and gradualion approached us. There are many evenls we can recall lhal helped us acknowledge lhe spiril we had in our school. We can look back wilh fond memories lo lhe close friendships and good limes we experienced al B.H.S. Afler gradualion, we will go our separale ways, seeking our individual aspiralions. As we conlinue on wilh our own lives, we will carry wilh us lhe repulalion of coming from a school of winners and achievers. Despile lhis separalion we, lhe class of 1984 will always cherish lhe lolal experience of being a parl of Brocklon High School. Susan J. Marble, Cheri Pessin Qk X -,f L .i. X Y Qg 5 x
