61' 4- SUPERI TE DE T . if '- f ,w0 Dear Graduates: The Class of 1976 has the distinction of being the third class to enjoy four full years at the new Brockton High School, and of being the one and only Bicentenn- ial class. Thus the Class of 1976 com- bines the commemoration of our nation's rich heritage with Brockton's special history of providing its youth with a su- perior high school building. But the most prized distinction of the Class of 1976 lies in the talents and accomplishments of the young women and men who, as seniors, have helped to make a superior building into a su- perio r school. Although technically a newcomer to Brockton, 1 am not unfamiliar with its community, its schools, and its stu- dents. Grounded in this knowledge is the conviction that the Class of 1976 will have the education, the qualities of citizenship, and the ambition to become productive participants in community affairs.
