ADMI If the July, 1969, completion date for the all-new Brockton High School is realized, the established tradition of one hundred and three years leaves this Brockton High School with the class of 1969. This graduating class is unique in that it departs with the underclassmeng together they say good-bye to an antiquated building which can no longer withstand its city's growing pains. The many memories which the class of 1969 takes with it are the last of an old breed. There can be no more memories of the building at the cor- ner of West Elm Street and Warren Avenue. A yearbook becomes more valuable as the years pass and your high school days seem ever less real to you. Each event pictured or recorded in Brock- toniai69 is singularly yours, but be- cause yours is the last class to grad- uate from the uoldn B. H. S., your yearbook is rather a special one-a closing chapter in a very long and interesting history book. 1 personally hope that your recol- lections of Brockton High are fond ones. This old building, you will find, has suited your needs in spite of its limitations. Your teachers and admin- istrators, too, have served you well. As we all look forward to new horizons, to the class of 1969 partic- ularly, I extend my best wishes for a bright and happy future. John M. Mahoney Headmaster
