Excerpt From the Class Paper 1906 HAt last the new high school is really finished and after long, patient waiting we have had our fondest hopes realized. After the first glamour of joy has passed and we become accustomed to the new daily routine we begin to see the advan- tages we have gained and to feel the influence that this building exerts. In the old building, with the poorest of surroundings, our interest or ambition was not aroused, but here, with the best of recitation rooms, chemical and physical labor- atories, properly fitted typewriting and bookkeeping rooms, and a fine library, we have all our hearts can desire. One cannot go through this grand building without a feeling of pride that he is a pupil of this school. PHOTOGRAPHY BY LORING STUDIOS
