Parsons's boys fared considerably better than is apparent. Winning their share of first places, the natators lacked suf- ficient depth to capture the meets. Outstanding for Brockton this season were Brian McSweeny in the breaststroke, Iames Marachino in the backstroke, and Edward Fernandes in the 220-yard free style. The rest of the team, although they took few points, practiced diligently three days a week at the Y. M. C. A. pool, and deserve much credit. 19 . I

enior -' unior rom With blues in music and color as its theme, Starlight Blues was held in the B. H. S. auditorium Ianuary 21. For many Weeks before the prom the senior and junior class officers and their friends were busily engaged in making the beautiful decorations. Arranged on the walls were silhouettes in blue of couples dancing, while a still larger silhouette with stars in the background on a black border served as a backdrop for the patrons and patronesses. There were beautiful glittering stars and musical notes which added to the splendor of the decorations. Credit should also be given to the stagecraft crew for the excellent work that they did. l8
