l 5 I lx 1 J, X I U X ga! .xdcfiuifiefi Highlighting the fall season were the football games spirited by the enthusiasm and excitement of the student body, and brought to a climax by the successful Pigskin Social. This fourth annual dance, an informal affair honoring the football team and cheerleaders, was sponsored by the sophomore and junior classes. The girls' gym was attractively decorated in a fall motif, and in red and black. An enjoyable time was experienced by all who attended this first dance of the school season. Not only were the boys participating in their activities at this time, but also the senior and junior girls were seen out on Eldon Keith Field playing intramural field hockey. When the interclass games were concluded, the senior class squad had won the championship. For the first time in many years, the seniors enjoyed a match with the Sumner High School girls of Hol- brook, playing half the game against them, and the other half with them. The cross country team had a very successful season this year, winning five out of seven meets. There were several outstanding senior performers, who benefited the team to a great extent. Concluding this fall season was the presentation of the senior class play, Ianuary Thaw, by the senior actors and actresses. Ian- uary Thaw, the story of the trials and tribulations of the Gage family, was pro- duced on Broadway in 1946. The entire cast performed like a Broadway cast and made December 2, l955, an enjoyable evening of rollicking fun and merriment. 1-1 f .53 i f
