If it's good, milk it for all it's worth. Successful people are moo-vers and shak- ers. Don't just be one of the herd. The cream always rises to the top. Don't stoop to a barnyard mentality. Don't be bossy. It is better to have milked and churned, than to never have milked at all. If you need to get somewhere, hoof it. Some days can be udder frustration. If you're feeling low, moo yourself a song. Chew your food 50 times before swal- lowing. Don't let others corral you. Munch hay while the sun shines. He who lives with the herd leams to watch his step. Following your heart will always steer you in the right direction. Party 'til the cows come home. Live for-heifer young. Here a moo, there a moo, everywhere a moo. KIRBY ROCKS THE HOUSE!! Set Some Time Aside To Dream Life gets so hectic sometimes that it's hard to find time to dream. lt's easy to slip into a routine, always worrying about what others expect of you and forgetting what you expect of yourself. Then the answer was simple Do a little dance, make a little love, and get down tonight woo! Get down tonight wool However, I think a better question is What is a Funky Monkey? The answer to this question is not so simple because we started off with 48 different Funky Monkees. So here's a list of what makes Funky Monkees special. Funky Monkees: Have spirit to spare, Have pride in their hall, Are crazy. Like to drink strange liquids which make them happy. Sometimes end up in the hospital because they did tricks when they were happy, Have learned a lot about themselves and each other. Have learned more than they wanted to about alcohol, alternative lifestyles, and all the other isms, Have learned how to tolerate their Don...at least they better havezl, Are good friends, Have respect for others, Like to sing and dance and play sports and laugh and party, Rock Brock BlGl, Are the best hall ever. It has been a wonderful year. l moved to the village very nervous, anxious and excited, unsure of what this year would hold. Since the very first day I have been amazed with the warmth and spirit that the Village residence has provided me. l would like to thank the VRLS for making this year so very enjoyable for me. Thank you for all your support. you folks are truly the greatest. To the VCrew, your dedication to providing Village residence students with exciting events was truly appreciated. You made made my Sun- day evenings something to look forward to. Special thanks to the 539 village residents for making my stay the greatest. I hope all your memories of the past year in residence are fulfilled in this book. l have to send out thanks to some people who have helped me out a great deal throughout the course of the year. Tara. thank you for your ever-constant support, your wacky crazy ideas. and for staying up with me all those endless nights to finish off the layouts for those deadlines that always seemed to creep up on us time and time again. Mandy, special thanks to you for perfecting our divider pages, they're great. Jenn, thank you for getting all of our pictures, even when they were really hard to track down. Tim, thanks are extended to you for taking all those pictures of Queenston Rez, because we were all too lazy to take the bus down there! Tammy, thank you for all your help, support and advice, and for all those numerous trips to Zehrs for photo de- velopping. Steve and Ayanna, l certainly can't forget you two, you guys were always there when we needed extra help and it was very much appreciated. And the layout and photography staffs, we couldn't have done it without you guys. My year as editor has been a very rewarding and memorable experience.
