46 M Pcn1rotil's Busy Day ,il is 1 ,f Here we see the boys helping with the paper drive, and there, they're packing Thanksgiving baskets . . . all in a day's work for the Boys' Club. When I first entered this volume I noticed that it was very cosmopolitan, there is no better example of cooperation and tolerance than in the selection of the Boys' Club ofiicers: the president is a Greek, the vice-president is an Irishman, the secretary is a Japanese, and the treasurer is a Chinese. All working for the best interests of Broadway! Wilbur Chinn Aristedes Phoutridies 27

My Son, My Son From one good thing to another, from the Tiger Claw to the Boys' Club. All boys in Broadway are members of the Boys' Club and they really take their organization seriously. They do many things for the schoolg one of the most appreciated services was their purchase of the niclcelodeon. This juice boxn has made possible the noon dances which are so popular with the whole school. Last year they got the electric basketball scoreboard for the school. All of the sports trophies and awards are made possible by them. One of the highlights of the school year is the Boys, Club assemblies . . . there always is something of interest to all of the boys. Best of all of the services rendered to the school is the maintenance of the Boys, Club office. Here is the scene of many gather- ings and many bull sessions. Wonien have invaded almost every corner of this male world . . . except the Boys' Club Office. Q l W. E. Hendrickson iiili iff. L5 f The Boys .. ,. .Q xml fff-IV Ji . This Above A1111 OFFICERS Maxwell Headriclc, Maria Fujitomi, Tom Stevenson IHI onoir Society The Honor Society held a successful first semester with two meetings, the latter of which was especially good. Held on january twenty-third, 1942, it featured an inspiring talk on music hy the bandmaster, Mr. Hasselblad, and a shorter one hy the sponsor, Miss Bond. Several of my favorite musical selections and a monologue completed the program. On February nineteenth of the second semester, the new officers were ushered in with the best wishes of the club. How did 1 come to he there? I don't like to boast, but I am intellectual. And anyway - there I was, peacefully gnawing on page thirty of the new president's history book, when Presto! There 1 was. 28
