“Go to the head of the class i f The educators in our school are often the butt of jokes and the object of criticism. Teachers have an often thankless job, but they are occasionally re¬ minded that they bestow upon their students in¬ valuable knowledge which will be depended upon in future years as these students move into adult¬ hood. Administrators typically hold a bad guy label during the performance of their duties, and few people recognize or appreciate their efforts to demand the best of each student enrolled in BHS. The teaching staff members are rarely visualized past their desks and chalkboards unless the teach¬ er coaches a sport or sponsors an organization. Many of Broadway ' s educators are accomplished crafters, musicians, athletes, and community leaders. Their hobbies do extend beyond grading papers and writing time slips. Too many times students forget that the entire staff works at BHS for the benefit of the students. This list is not only limited to the faculty but also includes the custodial staff, cafeteria workers, secretaries, and aides. So, to the BHS staff, whose “thank-you” might have been forgotten, we say thanks.
