TALE T SHOW In May Broadway held its last all-school event, the talent show. Hosted by Mrs. Garza, elementary through high school students par- ticipated in what proved to be a lively and entertaining afternoon. First place went to the Brigadieres for their dance rendition of City Lights. Other winners were Tammy Beathard, the Aristocats, and Jennie Skavatsos. MS.

EIGHTH GRADE TRIP On May 8th and 9th the eighth graders passed some memorable days in New Braunfels. Mrs. Besser, Mrs. Leitch, Mrs. Ruffner, and Coaches Stanfield and Carter spon- sored the group as they stayed at the Landau Resort. Highlights of the trip included a day at the Schlitterbahn water slide and a raft trip down the Guadalupe River. All of the students interviewed after the trip gave a glowing report and indicated that it was an excellent way to end their years in junior high. 36
