CLASS PROPHECY We're looking ahead ten years from tonight, using the traditional crystal ball, proven for its accuracy. As it comes into focus, we see our first subject: We behold our old friend, Bill Hickson, in a sad scene. He has passed away after a full life. He was married, divorced and well endowed with great sums of money-not necessarily in that order. Next, we see Connie Drevs, winging her way around the world as a top-notch airline hostess. She has really advanced rapidly in her field, netting her all sorts of fringe benefits. . . On we go. we see Barbie Baird in gay Paris on a sojoum to the world-famous fashion salons. She has been instructing young designers for two months, but now she 's on her way home, to husband and family Q2 kidsj. We see Dan House as he works in his bachelor apartment, designing new engines for all manner of machines. We know, he'll probably never get married! Then, there's Cindy-she 's an H.S. History teacher now fthat's funny-she sure used to hate history!J She's gotten married in the meantime and has four kids, too! Mid ji Stephenson now teaches abroad. Besides being an English teacher, she is also the school librarian. She lives in France with her rich, French, hubby. Now, Mary has become a top-flight secretary in our nation's capitol. She has succeeded in attain- ing the highest position available to our nation's secretaries. She is the personal secretary to the 9 Speaking of government, Paul Badgett is now married and living in Russia, making his living as a secret agent specializing in high-class sabotage. Colleen Frey is now a working wife and mother of two. She works at a local social center helping young people with special problems. Ann Morton is now living in the forest with her forester. You see, she gave up her career as an airline hostess for the man she loves. Victor Stephenson now owns a large ranch, producing high-quality Herefords and quarter-horses. As the most eligible bachelor in the area, he finds it necessary to have around-the-clock body- guards and high fences. Kathy Mosdal now lives with her husband and two adopted children in a restored Victorian mansion. She uses her teaching experience to help her children and to substitute for teachers in the local jr. hi. Now, it seems that ten years is forever, but it will go quicklyg then, we can look back and see how well we guessed our futures. THE CLASS OF '70
