Theodore Careieh President of Illinois Conference not found in serves but in mitted to our youth belong THE greatest assets of God's church are any financial or material re- the children and youth com- care. In a peculiar sense the not only to us but to Christ, c-ur Lord. The Saviour looks upon the youth as the purchase of His blood, the trophies of His grace, to be trained and educated as skillful Workman for the up- building of His kingdom. Satan is ever seeking to wrest these youth from the hand of Christ, and it is the business of the Christian school to preserve the assets of the church. To this end, and this end only, are dedicated the resources and strength of Broadview Academy. Recognizing that the future of our youth will testify to the character of the institution's work, I again pledge the full support of the Broadview Academy Board to the ideals and standards of Christian education as outlined in the divine blueprints. To the realization of this objective I would welcome the hearty support and earnest prayers of our entire constituency.

The faculty and student body of Broadview Academy wish to express their deep appreciation to the Lord for the rich spiritual blessings received during the school year 1948-49. Broadview Academy will long remember the outstanding Weeks of Prayer conducted by Elders Knipschild and Skinner, and the completion of the gymnasium- auditorium floor. However, it is our purpose to look for- ward to greater progress and success for the coming year 1949-50. The academy board and faculty re- alize that God has a place for each in- dividual to do an important work for Him. In every youth, every child, lies the power, by the help of God, to form a character of integrity and to live a life of usefulness. Education page 289. We pledge ourselves to guide each student toward the Divine blue-print. Lee Taylor, Principal
