TOWNLEY - Supervising Principal To Members ofClass of 1959: Our little classmates of grade two of the Broadalbin Grade School in 1948-49 have become the Seniors of 1958- l959. I can still recall you vividly in those rooms on the top floor of the Grade School under the direction of Mrs. Letha B. Leslie and Mrs.Myra DeLorme.According to the Kennyetto Kronicle, only twenty-three of the original group are members of our present Senior Classy however, twenty-seven new mem- bers have joined your ranks during the decade. You have been a very stimulating, resourceful group through your entire school career. Cooperation has been one of your outstanding traits. We sincerely wish each and every one of you the best of success and good health to enjoy it. Sincerely, T. R. Townley Supervising Principal MEMO FROM TH E Written in countless yearbooks, the expression, With sincere best wishes for a happy and successful future is certainly neither new nor original, but it expresses most adequately a deeply felt sentiment. l'll miss this class of 1959. Many of you I've grown to know intimately: all of you I've observed and tried to know well. In retrospect, some of you have been a trial - but those instances become lost in the profusion of pleasant remember- ances. You've been individuals, unafraid to express your thoughts and feelings, and yet you've been understanding, co-operative and loyalg you've known the difference between conformity and respect for rules and regulationsg most of all you're our hope for the future. May your judgements be sane and Luiprejudiced, and may the world you helpmake, contain as much humilty as pride. So to this the class of 1959, for reasons tinged with a little personal pride mixed with the sorrow of parting, I say, Au revoir, and may the life confronting you be as joyous and fruitful as you've envisioned it.
