It is our hope that you have learned to reason and to discriminate between the true and the false. Conflicting ideologies and be- liefs, and mounting pressureswill make it essential that you weigh these decisions carefully in the light of all known facets and that you behave like the intelligent citizens I know you to be, It has been a pleasure to have worked with many of you, and to have watched most of you grow and mature. . . not only phys- ically, but intellectually, in a manner that leaves me assured there is little to fear that our way of life and our freedom will be maintained.
