Stand by your colors Let not courage fail - .M For we are with you. We are all together Going to see you through. Hurrah for alma mater Old B. H. S. History Here we are, sophomores meeting for the first time with our advisor, Miss Hults. We elected, to lead us in our first year of high school, Ray Woodward, president: Pete Auty, vice president: Mary Pitt, secretary: Mike Porter, treasurer: Ed Oathour, reporter: and, Student Council representatives. Carol Lockrow, Jean Hopes, and Paul Pronsky. Our 'Basketball Bounce, the selling of stockings and cheer books, supplied us with our chief income which was to pave our financial way to Washington. Guided by Miss Hults and Mr. Rishel, our advisors, we, jolly juniors, chose John McCrevey as our president: John Agnostopulos, vice president: Mary Pitt, secretary: Ioan Pitches, treasurer: and Bill Malec, reporter. To Student Council we sent Carol Lockrow, Ed Oathout, and Peter Auty, Aiming for a larger treasury, we sold pens, magazines, and sponsored the checkroom at basketball games. Our prom, 'Some Enchanted Evening, and the establishment of our semi-annual Barn Dance were two of our biggest events. Then the time came. . .our rings were here. The hours of figuring, debating, and deciding were over. We were wearing the finished product. . . the Broadalbin Central School rings. In September 1957, we were reunited as Seniors. Almost immediately we started working on our yearbook and Senior Play, 'Quit Your Kidding. The dances, movies, refreshments at basketball games we sponsored, and the pencil and paper sales were all classified as successes. Our officers for our last year at B. I'L S. were: Mike Porter, president: John Agnostopulos, vice president: Joan Blood, secretary: Marilyne Crandall, treasurer: Gail Shufelt, reporter: and Carol Lockrow, Bill Malec, and Pete Auty, Student Council representatives. Senior sweaters and the trip to Washington completed our high school years. With heads held high, we leave to enter a vast new experience. And so. . . B. I-L S .... good-bye.
